Rougié confit of Moulard Duck Legs with Duck Fat is ready to serve or use in you favorite recepts. It can be served cold or hot after removing excess fat with cassoulet, duck conflit salads, and many other recipes. It can be accompanied with mushrooms, vegetables or potatoes.
Founded in 1875 and based in the medieval town of Sarlat in France Perigord region, Rougié is a recognized world leader for production of moulard duck specialities and foie gras.
Nowadays, to better serve the North America market, Rougié produces its very fine product in Quebec, Canada where ducks are raised and processed in US Department of Agriculture approved plants.
